HMD Global partners with iKydz this Christmas
HMD Global has partnered with iKydz, an Irish internet safety company, to offer 3 months trial of their iKydz Mobile tool for free on the HMD Global’s Nokia 1 and Nokia 2.1 handsets. The tool gives parents total control of their child’s device, allowing them to monitor how long they are connected to the internet, apply age-based restrictions, schedule online access, see what they’re viewing, filter different types of content, block unsuitable websites and apps and shut off internet access completely.
All of these features are designed to help give parents peace of mind when buying their children their very first smartphone this Christmas.
“Parents are increasingly concerned about protecting their children online, and we want to support them,” said Lisa Higgins, Ireland Business Manager for HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones. “Whether they are worried about the type of content their child is viewing, or the amount of screen time they have each day, iKydz Mobile is a great tool for helping parents keep their children safe online. Coupled with our affordable Nokia 1 or Nokia 2.1 devices, parents can feel confident and assured in giving their child their first smartphone this Christmas.”
The Nokia 1 with iKydz Mobile offer is available for €99 and the Nokia 2.1 with iKydz Mobile offer is available for €129 exclusively from Carphone Warehouse, from this Thursday, November 8th
