Microsoft's new Surface Pro 6, Surface laptop 2 & Surface Studio 2 available in Ireland today - Surface Headphones coming in March
Back in October 2018, Microsoft announced 4 new products in their Surface line. Fast forward to February 2019 and Microsoft has just announced that these 3 of these new products, the Surface Pro 6, the Surface Laptop 2 and Surface Studio 2 are arriving in Ireland today with the much anticipated Surface Headphones arriving next month.
Prices for each can be found below along with reminder paragraphs on each of the products making their way to Irish shores next month.

Surface Pro 6
The new Surface Pro 6 is said 67 percent faster than its predecessor and there’s also a 267ppi display with a stated 13.5 hours of battery life. The new model, like a lot of the other new products announced on the night, will be available in new Black colour offering and the new 2-in-1 laptop now also includes a 8.0 MP auto-focus camera.
The new Surface Headphones are over the ear wireless headphones with Cortana built in as well as AirPods-like auto-play and pause that triggers when you take the headphones off or put them on. These will be available next month in Ireland with an exact date to be confirmed. We’ll be sure to update the post once we know more.
Surface Laptop 2
The new Surface Laptop 2 boasts 8GB of ram at its entry-level point – up from 2017’s 4GB. There’s also a 13.5-inch display with a 2256 x 1504 resolution, an entry-level 128GB SSD, and USB 3.0 and Mini DisplayPort. The new device is said to be 85 percent faster than the first-gen, courtesy of the 8th-gen Quad Core Intel processor. You may remember that the original Surface Laptop was the one with the ‘fabric’ -style keyboard, well, it’s now available in black as well.
Surface Studio 2
The brand new Surface Studio 2 is quite the looker. It features the latest next-generation Pascal graphics from NVIDIA, as well as a 2TB SSD. Microsoft also states that the display is 38 parent brighter this time around. Thankfully, the new Studio also offers USB Type C support, something that’s sadly missing from the new Surface Laptop and Surface Pro. The new device also includes the latest Surface Pen with tilt sensibility and 4096 levels of pressure.
