Tesla Model 3 Facts & Features

Model 3 is Tesla’s smaller, simpler, more affordable car. Designed and built as the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle, it is a critical step in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Model 3 combines industry-leading powertrain efficiency, aerodynamics and chassis technology to deliver the longest range of any comparable electric saloon. Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive has a WLTP range of up to 560 Km. Model 3’s powertrain technology has been designed for ultra-high endurance, and Tesla has proven its technology over more than 16 billion km of real-world driving across its global fleet of vehicles.

Model 3 recently achieved the lowest probability of injury in any car ever tested by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NTHSA), and it is designed to be the safest car in its class. Every car comes with active safety features standard, including Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning and Side Collision Warning. Model 3, as with other Teslas, will continue to receive updates which add new features and enhance functionality over time. Premium connectivity is included as standard for one year which contains satellite maps with live traffic visualisation, Spotify and over-the-air updates via Wi-Fi & cellular.

Model 3 comes with the black or white premium interior package. This includes premium heated seating with 12-way, power adjustable front seats and centre console with covered storage, 4 USB ports for all your devices and docking for two smartphones. The premium audio system includes 14 surround speakers. Model 3 also comes with auto dimming, power folding, heated side mirrors.

All Model 3 customers have pay-per-use access to our global Supercharger network, which is reserved specifically for Tesla owners; there are more than 440 Supercharger locations with over 3600 Superchargers in Europe and growing constantly. In Europe, Model 3 comes with a built-in CCS Charge Port for compatibility with third party fast charging networks, giving our customers the most charging flexibility compared to any EV on the market.

Model 3 has five colour options with solid black included as standard. Metallic colours, Midnight Silver and Deep Blue, Multi Coat Red and Pearl White. It comes with a choice of 18” Aero wheels as standard and 19” Sport wheels as an option. 20” Performance Wheels come as standard with Model 3 Performance. Model 3 Performance

Model 3 Performance is the quickest car in its class, capable of achieving 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds. It has a near perfect 50/50 weight distribution and comes with the Long  Range Battery for 530km of WLTP range and Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive for enhanced performance and traction in any weather. Model 3 Performance has an increased top speed of 261kph along with a carbon fiber spoiler, 20” performance wheels, and aluminum alloy pedals for maximum handling and improved stability. Go Anywhere

For everyday travel, simply plug Model 3 in at night at home and wake up to a full charge. For longer journeys, Model 3’s range and the Supercharger network combine to make long distance travel easy for drivers. In addition to this, the Tesla Destination Charging network has convenient charging at hotels, restaurants and shopping centres. Tesla partners with hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and resorts to make charging when you arrive at your destination as simple as charging at home. Pull up and plug into a Tesla wall connector to charge Model 3 while you shop, dine, or even during an overnight stay. Additionally, Ireland has one of the best public charging infrastructures in Europe with over 1,000 public charge points that are free to use.

Technology as Standard

Over-the-air software updates add functionality, enhance performance and improve the driving experience of Tesla vehicles. Similarly, to how you receive updates to your smartphone, Tesla owners receive software updates to their car remotely without visiting a service centre. Additionally, access to Tesla’s mobile app allows owners to monitor charging and put the climate control on. All new Tesla vehicles are fitted as standard with extensive hardware to enable the latest safety and convenience features. Eight surround cameras provide 360 degrees of visibility around the car at up to 250 metres of range. Twelve ultrasonic sensors complement this vision, allowing for the detection of both hard and soft objects. A forward-facing radar provides additional data about the world and is able to see through heavy rain, fog, dust and even the car ahead.
