REVIEW: Jabra Engage 75 Convertible
This Bluetooth headset has been engineered to be the world’s most powerful and professional wireless headset and it really shows. We tried the mono version for over a month and really liked it.
The Engage 75 Convertible comes in a very understated brown box with the 3 wearing options, a sleek base station along with the charging / connecting cables. It takes up minimal room on your desk and it’s touch screen functionality is a winner.
The display shows the battery remaining in the headset with a battery icon, also the time when not used changing to length of call it when in use. Finally, the display shows all the connected devices within range and underlines the current device active on the call.
There are 3 different ways to wear this headset with an over the ear option, top of head band and ear to ear around the top of your neck band. For the length of the review we stuck with the over ear version as we found it the easiest to wear and remove when needed.
Normally I wear a stereo wired headset along with working in a busy open-plan office. I found the speaker volume excellent. With the Jabra mic quality top of its game, I also had zero complaints from clients due to background noise.
Talk time is up to 19 hrs and suffice to say, I never ran out of juice with charging every night. I really like the multiple device connection. I was also able to dial out via a VOIP system on my laptop along with my mobile also connecting to the headset. Very handy when you need to be connected and contactable.
We’d definitely rate this heat-set. It may be on the slightly more expensive end of the price range but we feel it’s worth the investment.
