Along with gathering the biggest news from around the world, covering games releases to the latest gadgets, the primary focus of the site is to get user involvement from its viewers and provide a one-stop-shop where users can see all the latest video content on an Irish site.
Dedicated to highlighting the latest and greatest in personal technology, The Effect.net covers everything from in-depth reporting and long-form feature stories, breaking news coverage, product information, cutting-edge tech gear to the latest digital lifestyle trends. Unique, informative and quirky, the team will keep bringing the web, gadget and game information and reviews that you can trust as well as some thought-provoking commentary.
The Effect.net’s founding team (Chris Jones, John Reilly, Luke Hoare Greene and Tony Reilly) were previously involved and managed the extremely successful Irish Technology site www.TechTV101.com and have worked in the media and technology industry for several years. The team also until recently had a regular technology and games section on 98fm and frequently got called on for spots and interviews on TV3, 3e, TodayFM, Spin 103.8FM and 4Live.
