Here’s a neat idea from Netflix (our favorite movie streaming site here at TheEffect.net). So it’s award ceremony season. There’s the IFTA’s, BAFTA’s and Oscars and now Netflix Launches ‘The Flixies’, their very own awards.
Gone are the predictable ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Best Picture’ categories. The polls are open for the best TV shows and films in categories that celebrate the ways we actually watch.
Join Netflix for the first ever Netflix Flixies and vote for “Best Tantrum Tamer” (for those with kids), “Best Hangover Cure” (for those on the mend), or “Best Marathon TV Show” (for those who tell themselves “ok just one more before bed”) and lots more.
Enjoy all of the fun of the awards, none of the blubbering speeches and wardrobe malfunctions.
