The Microsoft team announced at E3 today that beat ’em up favourite and all round destroyer of thumbs, Killer Instinct for the Xbox One, will be free to play.
Available on launch day this coming November, Killer Instinct will let players take control of one character, Jago, for free. Other characters will be available to purchase individually or as part of packs, much like most other F2P games currently available.
This is the rebirth of an eighteen year old title, and one that’s sure to grab the attention of many older arcade and SNES gamers who remember all to well the excitement, heart racing pace, and broken friendships Killer Instinct brought home.
