Planning a trip to Spain soon? Magaluf to be exact. Afraid of missing out on Twitter trends and tweeting to your heart’s content? Well this might just be the perfect hotel for you!

Meliá Hotels International, the leading hotel chain in Spain, has decided to create the World’s first twitter themed hotel called the @SolWaveHouse Hotel which aims to cater to all your Twitter needs. The hotel allows you to interact with staff and other guests through tweets and there is a hashtag for pretty much everything in the hotel. There’s even two resident twitter concierges ready to meet guests requests via twitter and to create conversation in the virtual community.

The hotel’s General Manager, Gonzalo Echevarría, says “the hotel takes a new step in meeting the expectations of an increasingly experiential and social customer profile, through new technologies.”

As we just mentioned, pretty much everything has a hashtag. For example, for your minibar in your room, if your drink levels get too low, there is a #fillmyfridge hashtag you use along with your room number to get your minibar restocked. There are also competition for guests to take selfies of themselves in their bathroom mirror with the hashtag #suitcontest which could win them a extra weeks stay in the hotel.

We absolutely love the sound of this place but would worry how much of a nosedive your follower numbers would take when all you are tweeting about is which sunlounger you are lying on and if your minibar is empty or not! Tell us what you guys think in the comments below!

Here is a link to the hotel’s twitter official website if you’re interested in having a look:
