Honestly, I’m not sure what to say here. Microsoft just can’t seem to get anything right when it comes to the Xbox One. Don’t get me wrong, they’ll sell a crap tonne of them, but they seem to be doing everything possible to make you not want one. First off, they have yet to tell anyone when it’s actually coming out, then you’ve got the fact they’ve reduced the amount of launch countries, on top of that it’s 100euro more expensive than the PS4. Yes, you get a copy of Fifa 2014 if you preorder a launch edition, but to me personally, I couldn’t give 2 hoots about football so that offer is lost on me.

Now it turns out that all those awesome lovely fancy, schmancy voice commands that you should be able to use with your Kinect (which is bundled and can’t be bought without) will only work in 5 countries at launch… yes, 5 countries, and well Ireland isn’t one of them (which I don’t understand as we do speak the english, right?). It should also be noted that this information is hidden nice and deep at the bottom of this page: ‘Get The Facts on Xbox.com’ (ironic name really)

So the 5 countries getting voice commads are: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France and Germany. And the countries NOT getting them at launch (and no date for when they will get them) are:  Australia, Austria, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain and New Zealand.

So, what do you guys / girls think? Will it sway your decision on what console you’re going to get in November?
