In a very unique and strange marketing campaign, Sony have hijacked vending machines in gyms and swimming pools across New Zealand and have stocked them with their new MP3 players immersed in a bottle of water.



As a campaign to get into the hands of music-loving swimmers (and heavy sweaters maybe) Sony have gone straight to the place these people go and is trying to sell directly to them out of these customised vending machines.

They are however, recommending you don’t drink the water the MP3 players have been sitting in. I wonder what it would taste like? (insert music pun here) Have a look at the video above and tell us what you think in the comments below.
