Channel 4 are continuing their massive and impressive new experience about modern-day spaceflight tonight with a look at what happens when something goes wrong on the International Space Station.

Last night showed us what life is like for astronauts and cosmonauts on board the station on a daily basis and featured astronauts Rick Mastracchio, Mike Hopkins and the current and first Japanese commander, Koichi Wakata.

Footage tonight will show what happens in mission control in Houston, Texas during a spacewalk and how the astronauts react to problems with the mission.

Finally, to top it all off, Channel 4 will be broadcasting live footage from the International Space Station this Sunday the 16th at 7.30pm as it completes a full orbit of the earth over 90 minutes as well as scenes live from the Johnston Space Center.

NASA and Channel 4 are really pushing the envelope with TV and we’re delighted, the more coverage that human spaceflight gets in the media today, the better.

Don’t miss Astronauts: Houston We Have a Problem tonight at 9pm on Channel 4 and if you missed last night’s Astronauts: Living in Space, you can watch it on 4OD now.
