If you’re feeling holy and Sunday Mass just won’t cut it, you’re in luck as Sky 3D will be broadcasting the canonisation of Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul live this Sunday.

If you’re out and about, Sky is hosting a special 3D screening of the canonisation ceremony at the All Hallows College Chapel, open to the public, this Sunday.

Mark Deering, Director of Corporate Affairs, Sky Ireland, comments: “At Sky, we believe in bringing our customers ground-breaking TV that they are passionate about, and we’re thrilled to bring this historic event to viewers in both 2D on Sky Arts and 3D on Sky 3D.”

The ceremony will also be beamed into 80 cinemas across Europe, offering free tickets to audiences, including five venues in Ireland – Movies@ Swords, Movies@ Dundrum, Cineworld Dublin, Movie@ Gorey and SGC Dungarvan.

You can watch the ad-free ceremony from 8.30am in 3D on Sky 3D or in 2D on Sky Arts.
