Microsoft research studios have shown us a sneak peak at their latest technology into steadying shaky POV footage from the likes of a GoPro or even Google Glass.

The technology takes frames from the native footage, removes the shake and stitches them back together to make a buttery smooth, almost steadycam like, end product. Thing of it as video stabilisation 2.0 for the adrenaline junkies and dare-devils.

They have said that they are trying to get the technology into a Windows app but have not said anything about a release date yet.
