Also of note is that Vodafone has announced that over 90% of Dubliners can now access 4G coverage as Vodafone’s superfast 4G network expands across the capital under the company’s national roll-out programme. The programme has reached 6 cities and over 267 towns across the country which means that more than 70 percent of the Irish population can now avail of superfast 4G, which is the widest national coverage available. Vodafone is on schedule to complete its national roll-out programme, which is focused on expanding data coverage across both urban and rural areas.

This is great news to Bill pay and Pay as you go customers who can now experience enhanced speeds of up to 10 times faster than standard 3G – Dubliners can now enjoy next to no buffering for video streaming with 4G, almost instant photo uploads, superfast file downloading and seamless music streaming.

International basketball acrobats, “Face Team”, Britain’s Got Talent finalists, today treated Dubliners to a special display of their speed and agility to mark the continued roll-out of Vodafone’s superfast 4G across the city and county.

The next phase of Vodafone’s 4G roll-out targets counties along the east including Kildare, Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Wicklow. As 4G is being rolled out across the country, Vodafone is upgrading its existing network giving high-speed data everywhere customers have voice services, better indoor coverage, improved voice call quality and wider High Definition Voice coverage, a service which is exclusive to Vodafone.

Commenting on the latest phase of their national network roll-out programme, Marcel de Groot, Consumer Director, Vodafone Ireland said “People carry their phones everywhere and we know they love having access to the best and most relevant content, particularly music, videos and photos, whenever, wherever. The roll-out of Vodafone’s superfast 4G across Dublin, as well as the improvements to our existing 3G network, mean Vodafone customers can now do more of what they love with their phones at faster speeds and in more places.”

Vodafone’s Superfast 4G is available on RED PAYG from €30 and on RED Bill pay from €55 including RED Extra plans which come with Sky Sports Mobile TV or Spotify Premium pack 1 as standard.     I can not get National R.T.E Television or any Channels due to 4G now in Monaghan Town,what do you suggest ? I have a Television licence and my coverage is now faulty due to 4G.
