HTC have just recently a brand new addition to the Desire line of phones. The Desire 620 can be seen as the successor to the 610 with some nicely improved specs. You get a nice 5″ 720p screen, the signature BoomSound stereo speakers on the front, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera and it’s all powered by Snapdragon 410 processor.

We’re liking the look of this new handset too and the increase in screen size is also a nice addition. The Desire 620 will be available in 2015 from Carphone Warehouse, Meteor and Three and will be available in two colours, Santorini White (white with blue accent) and Tuxedo Gray (gray with light gray accent.)

DUBLIN, 10TH DECEMBER – HTC Corporation, a global leader in mobile innovation and design, has announced the HTC Desire 620, which follows the highly successful HTC Desire 610. Pairing the iconic design language of the HTC Desire range with a bold and playful edge, it features two-tone accents for a striking look at a competitive price.

“Our new HTC Desire model delivers the best of both worlds, combining a fresh, youthful design with powerful processing and super-fast connectivity. The HTC Desire 620 is the perfect choice for entertainment lovers looking for an affordable smartphone that balances quality performance with stunning design” said Peter Frølund, UK /IE  and Nordics General Manager, HTC Corporation.

Video and images can be viewed in stunning detail on the 5” high definition display, while the Desire 620 allows you to stay up to date on the latest breaking news and social feeds via HTC BlinkFeed.

Power to stream or play

At the heart of the Desire 620 is the latest Snapdragon 410 Qualcomm processor[1], with Android 4.4 and HTC Sense 6 to power your video and gaming experience and ensure a smooth transition between screens when multi-tasking. When streaming or downloading your favourite TV shows or video clips, support for 4G LTE[2] delivers download speeds of 150mbps, to ensure you’re not left waiting for content download before you can start viewing.

Eye catching design

The HTC Desire 620 personifies HTC’s rich heritage in design, using the same two tone palette as the HTC Desire EYE and HTC Desire 820. A colour scheme of Santorini White, Tuxedo Gray and Saffron Gray enables you to have a fresh, eye catching handset at an affordable price.

Focus on photography

To capture every scene, group shot or selfie is captured in incredible detail, the HTC Desire 620 features an 8MP main camera and 5MP front camera with Auto Focus and continuous shooting functionality. The option to capture video at 1080p on both the front and rear cameras makes it ideal for video chats with your friends and family.
