In addition the offer means that customers can get all three services (Fibre, Talk and TV) bundled from Sky starting from just €59 per month.

The addition of Sky Fibre with its speeds of up to 100Mbps will ensure that Sky TV customers who connect their Sky+HD box to their broadband will have the best possible viewing experience as they access thousands of hours of great TV shows and movies through On Demand, Catch Up TV, and Sky Store services, as well as streaming content on multiple devices with the Sky Go app.

Customers who choose to take TV from Sky will also benefit from the convenience of having just one monthly bill and be serviced seven days a week by Sky’s award winning team of dedicated customer service advisors based in Dublin.

Introducing Sky Fibre, JD Buckley, Managing Director, Sky Ireland said: “Last year we introduced Sky Broadband & Talk becoming the first truly nationwide triple play provider and the fastest growing ISP in Ireland, so we’re delighted to introduce Sky Fibre which will raise the bar further in terms of speed, quality and reliability. It’s an important part of Sky’s continued commitment to invest in Ireland, which we’re doing through jobs, content production, and crucially through new products and services for our customers.”

Ann-Marie MacKay, Director of Products at Sky Ireland adds: Whether you’re watching something on Sky’s Catch Up TV service in the living room, while the kids are browsing the internet or streaming music on their tablets or smartphones, Sky Fibre offers enough capacity for the whole household and we won’t manage traffic or slow you down. It’s the perfect complement to Sky TV which offers thousands of hours of On Demand content including movies and box sets, as well as the Sky Go streaming app and Sky+ app.”

“With tablet and smartphone penetration continuing to grow apace in Ireland, the need to access content instantly on demand is greater than ever. With Sky Fibre customers can start watching an episode of their favourite TV show or a movie within seconds without worrying about download limits.”
