At this year’s Red Dot Awards, Toshiba, who’s many products we’ve reviewed here on TheEffect.Net, have won 2 awards for design for their Chromebook 2 and Portege Z20t. We recently got some hands-on time with the Chromebook 2 and we were extremely impressed by its full HD IPS display, lightweight build and stylish design so we totally understand why it won the design award.
For the Portege Z20t, we haven’t actually seen one in the flesh but from feedback from other outlets, they were impressed by it productivity features and the ability to remove the touch display and use it as a tablet. Again, it is one stylish piece of kit so we have no questions as to why it was awarded the Red Dot award. You can find the full press release below and we just want to say a huge congrats to Toshiba on their win.
