We’ve all been there, staring blankly at the Netflix menu wondering what the hell to watch and your only support is by focusing on the increasingly niche genres Netflix supplies to you. Well, moments like these may be a thing of the past with this eerily accurate new website, WhatIsMyMovie.com, powered by Val.ai.

This new site lets you search for the most obscure of scenarios in a vast array of movies along with analysing over 1000 qualities of each of these movies to help you decide what to watch next. Being a fan of Bill Murray, I entered “Movies where Bill Murray plays an instrument” and I was recommended ‘Rock The Kasbah’ and last year’s ‘Aloha’.

The extremely impressive software analyses everything from the actors’ emotions to objects in a scene. I also searched for ‘Leonardo DiCaprio smoking’ and was recommended ‘The Revenant’ and ‘Wolf of Wall Street’.

The developers behind this software are already testing its implementation into Amazon’s Alexa speaker and would love to see it implemented into the likes of Netflix to make it much easier for users to find movies they actually want to watch by searching for the most obscure of scenes and movie scenarios!

Go ahead, give it at try and let us know what random selections you’re given!
