In making the new XPS 13 thinner, Dell used a lower-capacity battery, going from a 60-watt-hour unit on last year’s model to a 52-watt-hour unit on this year’s one. Dell also had to remove the full size USB Type A port and the SD Card slot so this is something you should keep in mind if you’re a avid user of either and you’re looking at this new model.

Under the hood, you’ll find Intel’s newest 8th Gen processor to make everything buttery smooth with the option of either the i5 or i7 variant, 8GB or 16GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of SSD storage.
