Huawei has just announced the Huawei P smart, a new addition to the P Series range of mobile devices. The Huawei P smart joins the wider P Series and highlights Huawei’s efforts to bring their latest features and functionality to a more competitively priced handset.
The new device features a Huawei FullView display – an edge to edge 18:9 screen – as well as a smart split screen function so users can easily reply to a chat while watching a video. The new P Smart will launch in black and will come equipped with an impressive 3000mAh battery.
In the camera department, the P Smart comes with a 13MP lens along with Dual Camera technology that allows user to create the much lauded Bokeh effect on both the main and selfie lenses to give selfies that professional camera look.
The Huawei P smart’s camera also features gesture shooting functionality along with 32GB of memory, expandable with up to 256GB via microSD.
Pictured at the launch of the Huawei P smart are identical twins Katie and Jane Lattimore. The new P smart offers a dual-screen feature, double lens technology and an impressive Bokeh effect for capturing the perfect selfie.
“Huawei is committed to delivering products and experiences that make everyone’s life better, and we’re proud that the new Huawei P smart does just that.” said Thomas Mason, Device Director of Huawei Ireland Consumer Business Group. “Bringing together Huawei’s superior technology with features including Huawei FullView Display and a Dual Camera, the Huawei P smart offers more of everything at a price point that is accessible to everyone.”
Under the hood, you’ve got the EMUI 8.0 platform along with Android 8.0 Oreo OS and 3GB RAM.
The Huawei P smart is available to purchase early February in Ireland for a price of €229 prepay and also available on bill pay.
