Another year, another Ubisoft E3 conference and this post is a first for us, I think this is the first time we’ve had to write about on Brexit on here. Nice while it lasted eh! We got plenty of shiny new trailers and updates to Ubi franchises and some neat new game announcements to boot. Let’s dig in shall we?
For WatchDog’s third trip, we head to London in a city that’s fighting back against CTOS. A heavily Brexit themed game, this game shows us London as a surveillance stake in the near future. The USP this time around, anyone can be a playable character and perma-death is a thing. An intriguing take on the open-world genre. How this affects the story, we’ll see but with an AI-assistant leading the charge, who knows!
Not exactly a game per-se but… Imagine The Office meets Game Development that’s only coming to Apple TV+. Oh the joys of living in 2019.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint
First Keanu, now Jon Bernthal. Hollywood’s invasion of gaming continues in this new instalment in the Ghost Recon series. We’re looking forward to this one!
Just Dance 2020
It got new songs!
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine
Did you like R6 Siege? Quarantine’s 3 player co-op mixes the best of it with a hoard based zombies.
uPlay Plus for PC
If you really like Ubisoft games, this gets you access to over 100 games including premium content for… $14.99 a month.
Finally a new franchise! If you remember Speedball from the early days, you’re halfway there. This looks like a really neat concept, if you’re a Rocket League fan you’ll love this! You can play the demo right now on PC via uPlay.
Gods & Monsters
Ubisoft had one more thing for us with a beautiful game from the makers of Assassins Creed Odyssey (that doesn’t look like a Zelda game at all) taking us through a world of Greek Mythology. Intriguing!
