RHA TrueConnect 2 Wireless Earbuds launch with 44 hours battery Life
We were big fans of RHA’s TrueConnect truly wireless earbuds when we reviewed them last year and now, for 2020, they’ve just announced their new RHA TrueConnect 2 Wireless Earbuds which offer 44 hours of battery life along with a range of other upgrades over their predecessors.
With Apple’s AirPods coming in at around the 24 hour mark for battery life, this significant improvement to the previous model’s own 25 hour lifespan should definitely help make them a worthy upgrade alone. With a single charge of the earbuds lasting 9 hours before needing a recharge, you should have no problem getting through a full day of us without worrying about these new TrueConnect 2’s cutting out on you.
RHA has said they’ve also refined the sound signature of these earbuds too, delivering “clear sound with balanced and increased power” along with adding IP55 waterproofing. This should protect you from causing any damage to the buds with sweat, dust or light splashes of water.
They’ve also added touch controls to each of the buds which allow you to access Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri with a tap. You can also obviously control audio playback and manage incoming and outgoing calls with the new touch controls as well.
Powered by Bluetooth 5.0, you can expect even longer range transmission capabilities for these buds along with higher quality audio across the board. There are two noise-reduction mics, one on each earbud, that will help remove background sounds when on a call but, unfortunately, they don’t offer full ‘Active Noise Cancellation’.
