Sky Live is now available to buy from €6 per month as an introductory offer. Internally, there’s a 12MP RGB HDR capable smart camera with 106° wide field of view (WFOV) and four mic array which allows far-field voice functionality.

Other key features of the new Sky Live camera include:

The ability to see and hear family and friends in their own homes alongside your favourite content on your TV screen. Working across live channels and Sky on demand content – the dedicated Watch Together button on screen lets you invite your family and friends to watch with you but everyone needs to have the same Sky TV subscription to watch similar content together.

The camera also supports ‘Auto-Tracking’ and background noise suppression technology to help keep participants in shot and the audio as clear as possible when on video calls.

An exclusive Mvmnt fitness app which lets users choose from over 130 interactive workouts, including a range of strength, mobility, Pilates and yoga classes. The built-in Body Tracking technology also helps to improve technique by analysing your form, providing real-time feedback as you move and counting your reps. There’s a companion mobile app that will allow for real-time feedback along with the ability to plan workouts, track personal progress and share on social media.

The ability to use your body as a controller, similar to Xbox’s old Kinect cameras, in games such as Starri, PAW Patrol PAWsome fitness and Fruit Ninja which uses AI-powered body tracking and gesture control. With more games like Peppa Pig coming soon.
