During Gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live last night in Cologne, Germany, Ubisoft announced the availability of a free 5 hour trial for The Crew Motorfest for the game’s launch. This trial period spans from September 14 to 17, allowing players who didn’t get a chance to participate in the beta, to experience Ivory Tower’s new open-world racing game. Any progress achieved during this trial will seamlessly carry over to the full game upon purchase.
For those who remain uncertain, this opportunity offers a chance to test drive the game’s dynamics on the streets and trails of O’ahu, Hawaii.
Along with this announcement, Ubisoft unveiled three of the upcoming cars from the 25 vehicles featured in the Year 1 Pass. These cars are the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody 2023, the Chevrolet Chevelle SS 1970, and the BMW M4 Competition Coupe. Notably, the BMW M4 Competition Coupe comes with a distinctive Liberty Walk body kit.
The Year 1 Pass encompasses these three cars upon launch, followed by the addition of two new cars per month. If you decide to pick up the pass at a later date, the Year 1 Pass ensures that all previously released cars from the preceding months are included in your collection.
The Crew Motorfest marks a notable departure for the long-standing The Crew series, introducing a fresh map and a renewed focus on festivals. With curated Playlist events, Motorfest captures the essence of car culture. Noteworthy changes to handling physics have been implemented, solidifying cars as the central feature in this instalment, while bikes, planes, and boats still remain part of the experience.
The Crew Motorfest Launch Date & Launch Platforms
Scheduled to debut on September 14, The Crew Motorfest will be available on PS4, PS5, PC (via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
