Google has just taken the wraps of their brand new entry level Pixel device, the Pixel 8a which features the latest Google Tensor G3 chip, given users access to some of Google’s more helpful AI features like Best Take and Audio Magic Eraser.

The design of the Pixel 8a includes rounded edges, even more so than the curves found on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, a matte back, and a polished aluminium frame, providing durability with its IP67 rating. It comes in new colours such as Aloe and Bay, as well as classic options like Obsidian and Porcelain. Additionally, users can go for larger 256GB storage option when selecting the black ‘Obsidian’ option, which is nice to see for an entry level device in the Pixel range.

The Pixel 8a comes with its own Actua display which is 40% brighter than the Pixel 7a, and supports 120Hz refresh rate for even smoother scrolling.
