Vodafone Ireland has just announced the launch of cellular connectivity for the Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, and Apple Watch SE with their OneNumber service. This feature allows Apple Watch users to stay connected, make calls, and receive texts without needing their iPhone nearby.

OneNumber uses the Vodafone network to ensure customers can stay connected and contactable across the country without their iPhone. This service offers the convenience of remaining reachable while on a walk, at the gym, or working remotely.

Amanda Nelson, CEO of Vodafone Ireland, stated, “As the first operator to launch OneNumber cellular watch connectivity for Apple Watch in Ireland, we are pleased to offer our customers the freedom and security of staying connected wherever they go.”

With OneNumber, Vodafone supports Apple Watch Series 4 with cellular and later running WatchOS 10.5, and requires iPhone XS or iPhone SE Gen 2 or later running iOS 17.5.
