Dyson has just announced its second active noise cancellation headphones, OnTrac. This follows their initial entry into the headphones market with the Dyson Zone, which featured a visor for air purification along with the headset. According to Dyson, the OnTrac headphones are crafted from premium materials with high-end finishes for optimal comfort. They aim to rival Apple’s AirPods Max and offerings from Sony and Bose.
Dyson OnTrac Specifications
The Dyson OnTrac headphones support active noise cancellation up to 40dB. Real-time external noise tracking is available via the MyDyson App. They feature 40mm speaker drivers with a frequency range of 6 to 21,000Hz. Users can choose from over 2000 customisable color combinations for the outer caps and ear cushions, made from soft microfiber and high-grade foam.
The headphones include multi-pivot gimbal arms and side-positioned batteries on the headband for balanced weight distribution. Additionally, a joystick allows for track changes, pause/play, and other controls. The battery life reaches up to 55 hours with ANC enabled.
