Sky Mobile has officially launched in Ireland today, introducing a compelling ‘Price for Life’ offer for new customers. This launch plan includes unlimited calls, texts, and 5G data for just €15 per month—locked in for life. For those who don’t require unlimited data, Sky Mobile is also offering a 10GB plan starting at €10 per month.
The mobile network is entering the Irish market with a variety of handsets from Samsung, Xiaomi, and HMD, alongside a range of SIM-only plans. Sky Mobile aims to bring fairness, flexibility, and transparency to the mobile landscape in Ireland. Key features of Sky Mobile’s offerings include:
- Fairer Contracts: Customers who purchase a handset from Sky Mobile will see their bills split between handset and airtime costs. Once the handset is paid off, the bill automatically reduces, ensuring customers do not continue to pay for a handset they already own.
- Mix: The flexibility to change data plans at any time through the ‘My Sky’ app. If customers wish to use less data in a particular month, they can adjust their plan accordingly and reduce their bill.
- Swap: The ability for customers to upgrade to the latest handset model one year before their phone contract ends, at no extra cost.
- Piggybank: Customers can share data with family and friends, enjoy discounts on handsets, and receive rewards such as return European flights or cinema tickets.

Sky Mobile customers can choose between SIM-only plans or plans that include handsets. For those purchasing handsets, there is the option to pay upfront or via a Credit Sale Agreement (CSA) over 24 or 36 months with 0% APR. Customers will also benefit from worldwide roaming services in over 150 countries, with the ‘Roam Like Home’ service available in 44 countries, including the UK and EU.
Aideen Chambers, Director of Sky Mobile, highlighted the importance of transparency in their offering: “Our research shows that many customers in the Irish market continue to pay for a handset they have already paid off, resulting in over 300,000 customers significantly overpaying on their mobile bills.
