Coming off its introduction on the latest Pixel 9 series of devices in August, Google has just announced that the Gemini app is now available for iPhone users, providing a dedicated space for iOS users to interact with Google’s new AI assistant. Available globally in the App Store, this release makes it easier for iPhone users to access Gemini’s conversational and productivity tools directly on their devices.

The app includes a new feature for iPhone owners, Gemini Live, which allows users to have conversational interactions with the new assistant. Gemini Live supports multiple languages and gives users the ability to ask questions or change topics on the fly.

Users can also choose from 10 different voices, offering a nice level of personalisation for their interactions. This is the first time that Gemini Live is available for iPhone, with a focus on dynamic, real-time conversations for tasks like brainstorming, practice interviews, and travel recommendations.

The app also includes learning tools designed to support users in studying various subjects, offering custom study plans, quizzes, and even the ability to provide guidance based on complex visuals, such as diagrams.

Gemini Live iPhone | TheEffect.NetGemini’s image generation capability, Imagen 3, is also available, letting users turn text prompts into detailed images. This tool is intended for creating visuals for projects or personal use and has a focus on photorealism.
